What Are the Main Types of Keto Diets?
There are four main types of keto diets.
- Standard: Low carbs, high fats (75%), and moderate proteins.
- Cyclical: Intertwines low carb days and high carb days. E.g five days of low carb diets and two days of high carbs.
- Targeted: Low carb diet all through but you are allowed to eat more if you’re working out.
- High Protein Keto: There’s more protein in this diet, roughly 35% of the food.
What to Avoid on a Keto Diet?
You need to avoid certain foods if you are on a keto diet. They include sugars, legumes, beans, unhealthy fats, fruits, starchy foods or grains, low-fat products, root vegetables and tubers like potatoes, and some sauces as well.
