Yoga Poses can be described as poses that are done in order to open up and expand the meditative state. They can be done in order to calm the mind, to attain meditation, or to achieve a state of inner harmony and peace. The most common yoga poses are seated meditation, standing meditation, and standing poses.

Sitting Meditation is the state where the practitioner sits on his or her butt, facing the direction of the sun or any other nearby object. One can take a relaxed posture, but if you are experiencing anxiety or stress, it is best to bring the breath to the chest and to keep the legs crossed.
