    its complicated. The culprit may be the body itself, producing sugar when it lacks badly. Many people completely avoid sugar in fear of glucose spikes which in turn cause the reverse effect of body itself producing needed amount to cover up from the liver. The result is always a rise in sugar level in the morning. When you exercise heavy in the morning, glucose is in desperate need, so body try to pick it from the fat resulting sugar spikes or elevated blood glucose level. The remedy may be to have sugars/carbs before a exercise or before going to bed.Better monitor and adjust , you will find a pattern!
