1. Holographic Nails

  • Start with a base coat.
  • Apply glitter nail polish. When applying the polish, make sure you dab it on instead of painting the nails. This way the holographic flex will stand out.
  • Apply strips of glue down each nail.
  • You’ll know the glue is ready for the foil when it is clear.
  • Keep in mind the colored side of the foil should face upwards.
  • Press foil onto the glue. Rip off the foil.
  • For your glitter accent, you can use more glue, or you can use a clear top coat to keep the glitter in place.
  • Brush off the excess glitter from the sides.

  • Integrity Gel by INM.

Method

 

  • Apply white color to your nails.
  • Mix the gel and the powder of any color of your choice to the consistency of toothpaste.
  • Take a little bit of the dough and add it to your nails. Thin out with your finger.
  • With a pointed nail tool, gently start making your design. Create small circles so it looks like lace.
  • Repeat the design for other fingers.

  • Chrome Nail Powders by LIN DECORATION
  • Gelfinity UV/LED Lamp by KUPA INC.
  • Eye makeup applicators.

Method

 

  • Buff the surface of your nails with a file. Apply black color to your nails. Cure your nails in LED lamp for 30 seconds.
  • Apply another black coat. Cure your nails in the LED lamp for 30 more seconds. Buff your nails again.
  • Apply ‘Akznetz Shine On by Akzentz’ top coat to your nails.
  • Cure your nails for 30 seconds in the LED lamp. With eye makeup, applicators apply the chrome nail powders of your choice onto the nails. Your nails look like a mirror. Amazing!
  • Apply the top coat and finally, cure your nails.

6. Cushioned/ Quilted Gel Nail Design

  • Apply acrylic nail extension in the shape of a ballerina’s nail. Apply gloss.
  • Take pink blush UV gel with a pointed brush and draw a diamond on your nail. Cure for 10-30 seconds in LED light.
  • Repeat the process, with spaces in-between to get cushioned effect.
  • Finally, cure your nail for about a minute. Apply mega gloss sealer gel at the points where the triangles meet.
  • Keep micro beads over the gel. Cure in LED lamp for 1 minute. Using mega gloss sealer gel, seal the beads. Put your nails in the lamp for a minute. Finish it off by applying cuticle oil.

7. 3D Acrylic Petals Nail Art

  • Apply two coats of black gel polish onto your nails.
  • Take your detailer brush and dip in Ugly Duckling Acrylic and Monomer liquid and put it in a dabbing dish. This liquid is a slow setting which is great for working petals.
  • For best results be careful with your liquid to powder ratio.
  • With the same detailer brush, dip into the white powder and put the ball on the nails. Shape the flower petal with a dry brush. You can dry the detailer brush by pressing the bristles onto a paper towel.
  • Gently shape more petals. Put a pearl at the center with the help of a tweezer. Add more mini pearls.
  • Apply silver dust to enhance the beauty of the petals.

8. Aquarium Nails

  • Sculpt a thin acrylic nail. Shape side walls and smooth out the nail.
  • Trim a clear tip to fit on the nail leaving a small margin.
  • Add a little nail glue to hold the tip in place.
  • Seal the edges with clear acrylic.
  • Make sure your acrylic beads are not too wet.
  • Leave a small opening to fill the nail. Allow to dry fully.
  • Add a small amount of glitter. Fill with baby oil using a dropper or syringe.

  • Blot away excess oil with a tissue. Seal with a dry bead of acrylic.
  • File and buff very gently. Add some nail art and crystals. Top coat with glaze and cure your nails for two minutes.

Method

 

  • Apply base coat. Apply black polish.
  • Completely dry your nails if you think it needs a 2nd coat, apply more, and let dry.
  • Apply tape to ends of nails.
  • Apply matte polish to exposed nails.
  • Let it dry completely.
  • Carefully remove the tape.
  • Apply top coat to tips only.

Directions

 

  • Apply Madam Glam Sea Swing and Sun as the base coat.
  • Apply Simply Peel around your nails for easy clean up.

  • Apply the UNA to design in the Marianne nails no 68 plate.
  • Stamp on the middle finger. Peel off simply peel.
  • Do the same for other nails.
